The Clipper City Rail Trail is a paved 10-foot-wide pathway that runs 1.1 miles between the MBTA Commuter Rail Station and the shoreline of the Merrimack River. The corridor is lined with public art, including some interactive sculptures for children, as well as interpretive and way-finding signage. Primarily used by pedestrians, the pathway is handicapped accessible and provides an attractive and convenient off-road corridor for people to walk or bicycle for recreation or transportation.
